01 / The beginning
One truck.An honest start.
Where our family legacy began.
Jason Knopp is the founder of Knopp Construction and the man who began our family’s legacy in agricultural construction. In 1994, he started the company with one truck. From those humble beginnings, he built a family-owned business that would become a familiar name in the agricultural industry.
Starting small makes the work personal. Your name is attached to the conversation, the job and the impression you leave with a farmer. That connection between the family and the finished work became the foundation of Knopp Construction. As the business grew, it gave us something worth protecting: a reputation that carries the Knopp name into every project.
We are proud of where this company is today, and we are just as proud of how it began. That first truck represents the kind of business Jason set out to build: practical, hardworking and rooted in the people it serves. Those beginnings still matter because they remind us that a company earns its place on a farm through the way it works.

02 / The man behind the name
He still wears his tool pouch.
After more than three decades, Jason is still in the field, working shoulder to shoulder with the crew.
Jason’s role as founder remains an active one. He still straps on his tool pouch, works alongside the crew and brings decades of experience to the job. The family legacy he began in 1994 continues through the example he sets today.
Our family and our crew remain directly involved in the construction. Working alongside the crew keeps Jason close to the details and decisions that matter on a job. That personal involvement gives real meaning to the Knopp name.
It also sets an example. Care for the work is easier to understand when the person leading the company is willing to do it beside you. For us, that is one of the clearest expressions of what family owned and operated means.
03 / The people we serve
More than 300 farmers.Every year.
Growth measured in the farmers we serve.
Today, Knopp Construction serves more than 300 farmers each year. From those early days with one truck, the company has become a name known across the agricultural industry. We are proud of that growth because behind the number are people making important decisions for their farms.
A grain facility is a serious investment. It affects how an operation receives grain, manages storage, moves product and prepares for harvest. Farmers put their own time, money and reputation into what they do. They deserve a construction partner who respects the importance of that investment and takes the work personally.
Serving more people brings a greater responsibility to hold on to the care that built the business. Our goal is for a farmer meeting Knopp Construction today to recognize the same work ethic that gave the company its start. The scale has grown; the value we place on the individual farm remains at the center of our work.
04 / Family owned and operated
Our last name is on the work.
Our family legacy began with Jason Knopp: his work, his example and his decision to put the family name behind the company he founded. We carry that legacy forward through our own involvement in the business and the care we bring to the work. Jason remains in the field, continuing to set the example that started it all.
We understand why farmers want to know who they are trusting. You should be able to understand the people behind a proposal, their experience and their approach to your project. Our story is part of that introduction: humble beginnings, decades of work and a family that continues to take pride in serving agriculture.
A family name carries a responsibility.
We take that responsibility to the field.

Plan my turnkey facility06 / What matters to us
The standards behind the name.
Quality is a priority in how we approach the work, the project conversation and the relationship with the farmer.
Pride in workmanship
We care about the details because the finished work becomes part of someone’s farm. Our commitment to quality starts with respecting that responsibility and bringing care, attention and experience to the job.
Hands-on leadership
Jason’s continued work alongside the crew keeps the company grounded in construction. The experience behind the business is present in the field, where practical decisions and careful work matter.
Respect for your investment
Every farm has its own priorities, existing equipment and plans for the future. We believe a good project conversation begins with understanding the operation and what the farmer needs the investment to accomplish.
A name worth protecting
The Knopp name connects our history to the work ahead. We want the way we work today to give farmers confidence in that name tomorrow. That is a responsibility we carry as a family.
